Amarillo Livestock Auction Summary, Amarillo, TX � 02/12/2018

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to firm 
on limited comparable sales.  Trade activity was light to moderate on 
moderate to good demand.  Slaughter cows and bulls were not well tested.  
Slaughter cows and bulls made up 3 percent, 5 percent replacements, 92 
percent feeders.  Feeder supply consists of 49 percent steers and bulls, 
51 percent heifers.  Approximately 85 percent of the run weighed over 600 
lbs.

   Steers:  Medium and Large 1 lot 642 lbs 157.00; few 792 lb calves 
135.00; 800-900 lbs 132.50-138.25; half load 905 lbs 133.75; few 1025 lbs 
120.50. 
   
   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1 few 468 lbs 160.50; few 640 lbs 
131.00. 

   Heifers:  Medium and Large 1 few 367 lbs 155.50; few 506 lbs 151.50; 
few 705 lb calves 119.00; few 848 lbs 122.50.
   Medium and Large 1-2 few 475 lbs 138.50; 500-600 lbs 130.00-135.50; 
few 636 lbs full 115.00; few 715 lbs fleshy 102.00; load 773 lbs 133.50.
